Pastor Murdered in His Home in Lagos by Cultist Group

A Pastor in Lagos, Nigeria, was murdered yesterday by a group known as the Badoo Group. They are a cultist organization known for murdering people in their homes or in churches. They use stones as their weapons and leave ritualistic markings at each of their murders. In this case, the Pastor was at home, and was beaten with two stones. They then tattooed his arm with a skull and left. The police are investigating the crime and have even arrested several people for questioning. We pray that the culprits are found and that the Badoo Group’s violence can be ended.

2017-11-27 Nigeria (Vanguard) Unknown gunmen, yesterday, allegedly killed a middle-aged Pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, when his house at Offin, Igbogbo, a suburb of Ikorodu town in Lagos State, was invaded.

Before his killing yesterday morning, the pastor, identified as Victor Kanayo, was in charge of Fingers of God Parish, Igbogbo. Eyewitnesses said his killers tattooed a human skull on his left arm after killing him and disappeared from the area without trace.

Though details about the incident were still very sketchy at press time, it was gathered that detectives have already arrested some suspects in connection with the crime and they are being questioned with a view to fishing out those that committed the killing.

Lagos State Police Command spokesman, Chike Oti, who confirmed the incident, said the Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal, has dispatched a team of crack detectives to unravel those behind the murder and dig into the past of the victim and see if there is a correlation between his past and his fate.
